The Doctrine of Faith

If we look towards religion, we have to face bigger disappointment. This is a system that is at par with govt. in terms of power of wealth. They have exploited the faith of the masses and erected fiefdoms of billions of rupees. If they wished and willed, they could have transformed the country. There are countless number of ashrams, mahants, mahamandaleswars, but we do not see any improvement anywhere. When our words are not in tune with our actions, where will improvement come from? There was a time when our Adi Shankaracharya (800 AD) had achieved cultural sway over the entire nation, united it, had imparted the spiritual thought process and taught people the noble way of life. Today, there are many self-proclaimed shankracharyas and mandaleswars, but they have no common platforms to mobilize the masses towards righteousness. The mind of the masses understands the language of religion and faith. This is the specialty of our nation.
